Women building a safe journey for every girl
Women in Development Efforts is a non-governmental organisation in Dar es Salaam defending the rights of women, children and marginalised groups.
We believe every girl has the right to reach school and work safely, without being asked for sexual favours. That is why we turn the people closest to her every day into her protectors.
